Slow Stitched Textiles with Janet Carey

Join local embroidery and textile artist, Janet Carey, for a creative Slow Stitched Textiles workshop where you’ll learn to utilise fabric and stiches to produce a piece of floral art.  Perfect for beginners to improvers.  This hands-on session will guide you through cutting and shaping fabric onto a piece of background cloth and then combining the layers together with some lovely embroidery stitches.  It’s called Slow Stitches because you have the chance to ‘play’ with fabric and be creative and enjoy the process.
