Raffia Bag Workshop

In this workshop you will get to create your own raffia bag using exclusive Ispie raffia. This Raffia is made from plant fibre and is beautifully soft and lustrous- no sore hands like many other raffia brands!

You will receive a kit containing 1 full spool of Ispie Raffia and a small amount of contrast colour if required, 2 metal hoops to create the distinctive shape, a magnetic closure and a 4mm KnitPro crochet hook as well as a printed Stitch Apothecary pattern.

During the workshop you will learn how to construct and be able to get started on a stylish raffia handbag and have all the materials and equipment to take home to complete the project in your own time.

This workshop is recommended for crocheters who already know the basics- double and treble crochet, slip stitch. We will be working in a small group of no more than 3 so there will plenty of time for 1-2-1 help with any new techniques.
